We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with a strong background in public accounting to join our client's growing team. This role is ideal for professionals currently working as, or recently serving as, a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Accountant within a public accounting firm.

- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues
- Work directly with clients to gather financial data and ensure compliance
- Identify tax planning opportunities and risk areas
- Assist in mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and regulations
Requirements
- Must come from a public accounting background
Current or recent experience as:
- Senior Tax Accountant OR
- Tax Accountant
- Strong experience with multi-entity tax returns
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or EA certification (preferred, not required)
- Experience with tax software (e.g., CCH, ProSystem, UltraTax)
