**THE ROLE **

EOA Basketball is hiring a Social Media Intern to help build and grow our brand across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This is a ground-floor opportunity at a brand with NBA-level credibility, professional athlete partnerships, and national growth ambitions. You won't be doing busy work — you'll be running real accounts, creating real content, and building a portfolio that speaks for itself.

You will work directly Ryan Powell (NBA Player Development Coach) on daily content execution. Your work will be seen by professional athletes, sports agencies, and a growing national audience.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO **

- Create and schedule daily content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — posts, reels, stories, and shorts

- Manage community engagement: respond to comments, handle DMs, and maintain EOA's voice across all platforms

- Assist with content planning using our 30-day editorial calendar

- Coordinate with our filmers to organize and deploy training footage from Ryan Powell's sessions

- Track platform analytics weekly — followers, reach, saves, shares — and report key trends to Ari

- Help manage and grow the EOA email list using Mailchimp — drafting weekly newsletters

- Support promotion of camps, clinics, merchandise drops, and subscription community launches

- Assist with influencer and athlete content coordination when working with partners like Victor Oladipo

- Stay current on social media trends in basketball, sports culture, and the NBA ecosystem

**Qualifications **

- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)

- Strong Communication and Writing skills

- Experience in developing and executing Content Strategies

- Basic understanding of analytics tools to measure social media performance

- Creative mindset with a passion for sports, especially basketball

- Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines

- Experience with design tools or video editing software is a plus

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Social Media Manager Intern

**About EOA Basketball: **

EOA Basketball is a premium basketball development brand focused on training, camps, content, and athlete growth. We are building a strong media presence around elite basketball development and are looking for a talented visual storyteller to help bring the brand to life. EOA works with and trains NBA athletes, while also building content and development programs for the next generation of players.

**Position Overview: **

**EOA Basketball is seeking a skilled Videographer / Editor ** to capture and produce dynamic, high-quality content across training sessions, camps, events, and branded moments. This role will be instrumental in building the visual identity of EOA through short-form content, recap videos, training edits, and brand storytelling.

**Key Responsibilities **

- Film training sessions, camps, workouts, events, and behind-the-scenes content

- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

- Produce longer-form recaps, promotional videos, and branded content as needed

- Capture high-quality footage that reflects the premium standard of the EOA brand

- Organize and manage raw footage to support a consistent content workflow

- Collaborate with the founders on creative direction, campaign execution, and content priorities

- Add text, music, pacing, and visual elements that improve storytelling and platform performance

- Deliver content on a timely basis for social posting, marketing campaigns, and event promotion

**Qualifications **

- Experience filming and editing sports, fitness, or athlete-driven content

- Strong portfolio demonstrating video production and editing ability

- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software

- Strong understanding of social-first storytelling and short-form content performance

- Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain a high production standard

- Strong attention to detail and creative instincts

- Photography experience is a plus
