What You Will Do
Assist in designing and implementing automated material handling systems based on customer needs
Support feasibility assessments for new product integrations, considering cost and timelines
Apply sound engineering practices and collaborate with vendors to develop creative solutions
Help manage multiple projects, including scheduling and coordination
Provide technical support to Account Managers during business development efforts
Create detailed mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications
Participate in on-site installations, including testing, debugging, and training
Maintain project documentation such as procedures, maintenance plans, and parts lists
Troubleshoot issues using root cause analysis and support corrective actions
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
1-2 years of experience with automated machinery (e.g., conveyors, robotics, PLCs)
Familiarity with systems such as Hytrol, SpanTech, Cognex, and FANUC is a plus
Strong mechanical design and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to travel up to 35–40%
Candidates would be based in our Willowbrook, IL office
