**Minimum Requirements**

High school diploma or equivalent. Must work well with or without direct supervision. Must be neat and well groomed at all times. Prior host/hostess experience desired. English skills necessary to communicate with guests. Computer skills helpful. Superior phone skills, and have a service orientated, pleasant phone personality.

**How you will enjoy your day **: Provide all aspects of the highest level of guest service including but not limited to, booking tours, dinner reservations, area activities and events. This position should promote/sell and have full knowledge of the resort’s services to maximize the guest’s awareness of the services available on property. Outside the resort services, sell or suggest only the highest quality available to ensure our guests satisfaction

**Work Performed**

- Determine the guest’s needs in order to familiarize them with the various activities offered both on and off property

- Work with vendors that provide services in the area and book appropriately for guests.

- Answer telephone by using the guest’s name

- Maintain a clear and organized desk area

- Enter information into computer system on any event or service you have prescheduled and ensure the front desk has the information for the guest’s arrival date and keep guest itineraries up-to-date

- Make reservations as requested for dinner, events, air travel, rental cars, etc.

- Provide guests with directions to attractions or facilities on or outside the property

- Have a personal knowledge of all that the concierge desk offers and recommends

- Coordinates guests’ requests for special services including flower arrangements, gift baskets, etc.

- Complete appropriate documents for special requests to insure the correct department is notified and that the billing information is complete

- Contact in-house guests periodically to ascertain any special needs

- Quickly and efficiently follow through on all requests from guests

**Job Summary**

Accountable for the overall success of the dishes being produced daily in our newly renovated kitchen which includes an Athanor suite. The Line Cook is responsible for daily preparation, organization, tasting, cleanliness and creativity of food items from our 5-acre farm while ensuring superior quality and consistency.

**Essential Functions And Responsibilities**

- Regular and Reliable Attendance is an essential function of this role.

- Overall responsibility for the production, quality and consistency of all food on your rotating stations in all venues including but not limited to Dining Room, IRD, Amenities, Fish Hawk and Banquets.

- Remain diligent with keeping the freshest product on your station.

- Assisting the chefs with creating a daily waste log on your station.

- Preparing food daily based on the volume we will be anticipating daily.

- Take care of all items once you are done using them.

- Ensure the use of standard recipes for all dishes to insure proper portion control, uniformity of taste and quality.

- Minimize waste and maintain proper food utilization in ordinance with sous chefs.

- Conduct tastings with the chef team for new menu items and ideas.

- Responsible for the cleanliness of your station as well as the surrounding areas.

- Visit the Tides Inn Farm on a weekly basis to stay up to date with what is coming in the near future.
