**Director, Business Development Overview**

ebbo is seeking a results-oriented Director of Business Development who will be an integral member of our team. This is a sales role focused on generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. This is an individual contributor role and will not have any direct reports. Our ideal candidate is a strategic hunter across multiple sectors, but with proven results in Retail, CPG, Hospitality and Services sectors. A background in loyalty, customer engagement or monetization programs for brands a plus.

**Duties And Responsibilities Of Director, Business Development**

- Prospect into companies to uncover business development opportunities

- Ability to scope out a solution after listening to client objectives

- Utilize existing relationships to gain meetings and opportunities with key stakeholders

- Work with selected resellers or intermediaries to broaden our sales reach and network

- Collaborate with internal product, client services, creative, technology and legal teams to develop the best possible solutions

- Present appropriate solutions to advance opportunities and close sales

- Negotiate deals, obtain internal deal sign-off, and work with legal team, product team and to configure agreements and statements of work

- Win business and transition relationship post-sale to client services, product and technology teams

- Utilize Sales Management tools to assist with and track sales efforts, conversations, meetings, proposals and contracts

- Travel required – approx. 15% of the time
