Position Overview
The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading enterprise-wide project delivery strategy, ensuring consistent execution of high-impact initiatives across multiple teams and business functions. This role drives operational excellence, improves delivery frameworks, and aligns project outcomes with organizational priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a portfolio of complex projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop and maintain scalable project management methodologies, standards, and governance models
  • Partner with senior leadership to define priorities, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and clear execution paths
  • Monitor project performance metrics, risks, and dependencies; implement corrective actions when needed
  • Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, tools, and reporting structures
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ensure consistent documentation, reporting, and transparency across all active initiatives
  • Support strategic planning efforts by providing execution insights and capacity planning input

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience, including leadership responsibilities
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid models)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a remote, distributed work environment
  • Experience with project management tools and reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
