Lead One-on-One or Group Training Sessions: Guide clients through their workout routines, ensuring they perform exercises correctly and safely while working toward their fitne
ss goals. Conduct
Fitness Assessments: Perform ongoing assessments to evaluate clients' fitness levels, goals, and physical limitations.
Design Customized Training Programs: Create personalized strength training programs tailored to each client’s needs and adjust them as necessary to ensure continued progress.
Teach and Demonstrate Techniques: Educate clients on proper form and technique for strength training exercises, ensuring safe execution at all times.
Motivate and Support Clients: Provide encouragement, motivation, and a positive environment to keep clients engaged and committed to their fitness journey.
Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe training environment, ensuring clients use equipment properly and avoid injury.
Ongoing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest strength training research through Discover Strength University where you will learn to connect your exercise science background with our proven approach to delivering world-class workouts.
Client Relationship Building: Develop strong, supportive relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and long-term engagement.
Administrative Duties: Document client progress, manage scheduling, and handle other administrative tasks related to client interactions.
Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with fellow trainers and staff to maintain a positive and collaborative environment for both clients and employees.
Qualifications
Four-year degree in Exercise Sciences, Kinesiology or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of strength training principles, anatomy, and exercise physiology.
Ability to work with clients of various fitness levels and create tailored programs to meet their unique needs.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and connect with clients.
A passion for fitness, client success, and continuous learning.
Experience in a personal training or strength training setting is preferred, but not required.
