The Opportunity
We’re looking for a proven retail sales leader and true hunter to help drive the next phase of our growth.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on opening new accounts, expanding distribution, and driving revenue in grocery and mass.
This is not an account maintenance role — we’re looking for someone who thrives on prospecting, pitching, and winning new business, while also growing key accounts strategically.
The right candidate will have a clear path to grow into a Director-level role as the business scales.
What You’ll Own
New Business Development (Primary Focus)
  • Identify, prospect, and open new national and regional grocery & mass accounts.
  • Lead all buyer engagement including outreach, presentations, line reviews, and negotiations.
  • Build and manage a strong, active sales pipeline with a focus on conversion.
  • Develop compelling retail pitches grounded in data, trends, and brand positioning.

Account Growth & Revenue Expansion
  • Drive sell-in, assortment expansion, and promotional strategy across key accounts.
  • Identify white space opportunities using POS and retailer data.
  • Optimize pricing, promotions, and merchandising to maximize velocity and profitability.

Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Report directly to President of Dionis while partnering with Marketing and Operations to execute retail strategies.
  • Support forecasting, inventory planning, and go-to-market execution.
  • Represent Dionis at key buyer meetings and industry events/trade shows.

What We’re Looking For
  • 5–10+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably in beauty or personal care.
  • Proven track record of opening new retail accounts (not just managing them).
  • Deep experience with grocery and mass.
  • Strong understanding and ownership of trade spend, promotions, and retail P&L dynamics.
  • Ability to build relationships and credibly sell to retail buyers.
  • Highly analytical — comfortable using POS data, retailer portals, and sales reporting tools.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — thrives in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.
  • Willingness to travel (~40–50%).
