The Media Director will serve as the embedded, on-the-ground presence of a dedicated Digilant senior team supporting a leading global CPG company's US media transformation initiative. This role is initially structured as a contract engagement through December 2026, with a strong intent to transition to a full-time position within Digilant's Media Planning team in 2027, reporting to Christine Yang, VP of Media Planning — contingent on performance. For the duration of the contract, this role reports to Damon Crépin-Burr, Chief Strategy Officer at Digilant, and operates on a hybrid basis, with an expectation of 2–3 days per week at the client's Plano, TX office when the client is in market. This person will be the connective tissue between Digilant's capabilities and the client's internal teams. This is a high-visibility role that requires someone proactive, highly responsive, and able to thrive inside a large, matrixed organization. The right candidate brings a solid media strategy foundation and a genuine track record of driving change — not just advising on it. Key Responsibilities:
Media Transformation Execution — Serve as the day-to-day strategic media lead within the client's US organization, translating a global media transformation vision into actionable plans. Drive progress on audience-based planning, channel mix strategy, operating model changes, and measurement frameworks — owning the work from recommendation through implementation, in close coordination with the broader Digilant team.
Stakeholder Management & Alignment — Build and maintain strong working relationships across the client's media team leads. This role requires executive presence with a hands-on mentality.
Team Integration & Coordination — Function as the in-market extension of a senior Digilant advisory team. Proactively surface insights, flag risks early, and bring solutions. Responsiveness and communication within the team are as critical as client-facing performance.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
Media Strategy Expertise — 6–9 years of progressive experience in media strategy and planning, with meaningful exposure to large CPG or Fortune 500 accounts. In-depth knowledge of planning across on and offline media, including advanced targeting, optimization against reach, frequency, quality and sufficiency, media mix modeling, contribution/attribution methodologies. A clear understanding of how data and audience strategy connect to business outcomes.
Reliability & Responsiveness — Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted partner in client-embedded or client-side environments. Known for being consistently reachable, proactive in communication, and accountable to deadlines.
Collaborative Team Player — Thrives in a team-based delivery model where senior advisors are actively involved and credit is shared. Comfortable being the visible face of a collective effort, integrating input from multiple stakeholders, and elevating the work rather than owning it in isolation. Strong listener, strong communicator, and genuinely collaborative by nature.
