About the role
Data Entry Technicians Needed.
- Transcribes ordersto profiles for check by pharmacists.
- Runs prescriptions using barcode system.
- Communicates questions or problems with facility staff, physicians, and pharmacists, documenting discrepancies in orders.
- Uses fax server system.
- Maintains fax machines.
- Maintains accurate error/complaint logs.
- Maintains accurate customer files, which include birth date, active medications and drug allergies.
- Forwards IV orders to RNs.
- Organizers one's available time to meet deadlines/quotas.
- Provides other departments with needed information (Billing, MAR, Packers).
- Performs other duties as requested.
- Maintains neat and clean personal appearance.
- Maintains neat and clean work area.
- Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and company information.
