Cyient is seeking a detail-oriented experinced Process Engineer to support turbine engine assembly operations. This role focuses on developing work instructions, ensuring build quality, and driving continuous process improvements across the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain assembly, test, and shipping work instructions using Solumina
- Perform build audits on turbine engine assemblies to ensure compliance with engineering and quality standards
- Create shop visit reports verifying that completed work aligns with Shop Maintenance Instructions (SMIs)
- Update work instructions on a quarterly basis to reflect engine manual revisions and process improvements
- Support the assembly floor by updating and maintaining routers
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve production issues
Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing or assembly operations in aerospace or a related industry
- Familiarity with Solumina or similar MES systems preferred
- Working knowledge of SAP (P10 preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Work Schedule & Flexibility
- Flexibility to support 1st shift, 2nd shift, and occasional post-2nd shift coverage
- Availability for weekends and holidays as needed
- Overtime may be required
