Job Title: Outreach Coordinator Pay: $55,000/Annually Reports To: Vice President of Programs Employment Type: Full-Time FLSA Status: Exempt Location: On-site/Travel Summary The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community referral sources, attending conferences and community events, and promoting Crossroads’ programs and services throughout the community. This role works collaboratively with senior management, program leadership, marketing, intake staff, treatment home coordinators, volunteers, and community partners to support outreach efforts, maintain program census goals, and assist individuals and families with accessing services. The Outreach Coordinator also provides intake coverage when needed and assists with planning and executing agency events and fundraising initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison to community referral sources, partner agencies, and local organizations
Represent Crossroads in a professional and positive manner at conferences, fairs, networking opportunities, and outreach events
Build and maintain professional relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders
Collaborate with senior management, program leadership, marketing, intake staff, and other departments to support outreach and admissions goals
Assist prospective clients and families with accessing required services and registrations, including DCP&P, CMO, and PerformCare, while providing warm handoffs when appropriate
Work closely with staff to maintain census at or above budgeted levels by targeting programs with vacancies
Develop, maintain, and regularly update outreach referral lists and community contacts
Complete training on intake and admission functions to provide coverage and support when needed
Assist with planning, coordinating, and participating in agency events, outreach initiatives, and fundraising activities
Provide event photos and outreach information to the Social Media Coordinator for promotional posting
Prepare and communicate plans, reports, and outreach-related documentation clearly and effectively
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards at all times
Participate in required trainings and professional development activities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in community outreach, event planning, networking, or relationship-building
Intake/admissions experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services preferred
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently as well as collaboratively
Assertive, flexible, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Ability to engage professionally with diverse populations and community partners
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in outreach, event planning, customer service, admissions, or business development-related roles preferred
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus. Work Environment and Expectations
