Traditional construction jobs focus on plan execution. This role demands timeline ownership—and the ability to correct course when plans meet reality. 2 Hour Learning is building a national microschool network that compresses a full day of learning into two hours through AI. Delivering on that model requires speed and precision on the ground. Permitting bottlenecks, on-site sequencing errors, and poor handoffs all slow growth. This position eliminates those breakdowns and transforms construction into a reliable, scalable system. You will operate on-site to drive builds forward. Manage contractor coordination. Hold schedules accountable. Resolve sequencing conflicts before they cascade into delays. Simultaneously, you will deploy AI and digital systems to cut manual overhead, increase transparency, and speed execution. This is active project management. You are the operator who intervenes when timelines drift and restores control. If you have construction exposure but are tired of weak coordination, absent accountability, or endless crisis management, this is your opportunity to lead execution the right way—at scale. What You Will Be Doing
Manage on-site construction execution, collaborating directly with contractors to ensure activities proceed in proper sequence and meet schedule commitments
Control and enforce project schedules, monitor milestone progress, surface risks proactively, and implement corrective measures when delays emerge
Leverage platforms such as Procore, Asana, or MS Project to oversee tasks, maintain documentation, and track status across live projects
Facilitate permitting processes by monitoring submissions, addressing review feedback, and coordinating with relevant parties to advance approvals
Deploy AI technologies to streamline planning, documentation, and decision workflows, minimizing manual workload and enhancing execution velocity
What You Won’t Be Doing
Monitoring dashboards from a distance without engaging when schedules begin to slip
Overseeing projects solely from a strategic level without grasping field realities or sequencing dependencies
Depending on legacy, manual methods for progress tracking or team communication
Sidestepping tough discussions with contractors or stakeholders when deadlines are jeopardized
Delaying action on issues while waiting for complete information
