Agency Brand Strategist (B2B) Hybrid in Charlotte, NC Crafted is seeking a Brand Strategist to lead positioning, messaging, discovery, and strategic planning initiatives for B2B manufacturers. This is NOT a social media, PR, graphic design, or creative content production role. We’re looking for someone who can lead strategic conversations, uncover business insights, and translate complex offerings into clear, differentiated market positioning. This is a Charlotte-based hybrid role requiring in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday. Fully remote employment is not available, and candidates must reside in or be relocating to the Charlotte metro area. Responsibilities
Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and strategic workshops
Develop positioning frameworks, messaging architecture, and strategic narratives
Conduct market, audience, and competitive research
Translate complex products, services, and technical offerings into clear market positioning
Build strategic presentations, briefs, and recommendation decks
Collaborate closely with account service, leadership, and creative teams
Present strategic recommendations to client stakeholders
Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining strategic quality and consistency
Connect strategic initiatives to business objectives and measurable outcomes
Required Experience
2+ years of experience within a marketing agency, branding agency, consultancy, or strategically sophisticated in-house marketing environment
3+ years of direct experience contributing to or leading brand strategy, positioning, messaging, or go-to-market initiatives
Demonstrated experience participating in or facilitating discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, or strategic workshops
Experience presenting strategic recommendations, messaging frameworks, or campaign direction to clients or executive stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholder groups simultaneously
Strong writing, communication, strategic thinking, and synthesis skills
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, predictive analytics, automation platforms) to accelerate research, messaging development, campaign planning, and performance optimization.
