About the role

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
·        Develop and execute strategic OEM sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
·        Identify, pursue, and secure new OEM business opportunities within targeted markets.
·        Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
·        Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term commercial agreements.
·        Manage key OEM accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs and escalations.
·        Collaborate with engineering, product development, operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to support customer programs and product launches.
·        Prepare and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, market analyses, and business reviews to executive leadership.
·        Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
·        Coordinate RFQs, proposals, and bid submissions to meet customer expectations and timelines.
·        Support strategic planning initiatives and contribute to overall business growth objectives.
·        Travel to customer locations, trade shows, and industry events as required.
·        Other duties deemed necessary.
AUTHORITY:
·        All personnel are responsible for quality and therefore have the authority to stop production, if necessary, to correct quality programs.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
·        Strong OEM sales, business development, and account management expertise.
·        Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
·        Ability to build and maintain executive-level customer relationships.
·        Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning capabilities.
·        Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and large customer accounts.
·        Effective leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
·        Strong organizational and project management abilities.
·        Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
·        Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
·        Knowledge of automotive, manufacturing, aftermarket, or industrial markets preferred.
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE:
·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
·        Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive sales or business development experience in OEM, automotive, manufacturing, industrial, or related industries.
·        Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
·        Experience managing strategic OEM accounts and long-term customer partnerships.
·        Prior experience negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and customer programs.
·        Experience working with cross-functional teams in product development, operations, and supply chain environments preferred.
·        Leadership or sales management experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
·        Able to sit for long periods of time.
·        Able to travel as required.
·        Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
·        Four-year college degree or commensurate experience.
