Who We Seek
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and accountable Operations Manager to own and optimize the full order lifecycle for WorldCopperSmith.com—from production approval through delivery and post-sale support.
This role is the operational backbone of the company. You will lead a small but high-impact team, oversee logistics and fulfillment, and build scalable systems that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on ownership—someone who thinks in systems, makes decisions with a profit lens, and takes pride in delivering a world-class customer experience.
What You’ll Do
  • Own the full order lifecycle from production approval through final delivery and post-sale support
  • Manage and develop a small, high-impact team (2–3 team members, with opportunity to scale)
  • Oversee all shipping, logistics, and documentation workflows, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Hold team members accountable for execution of shipping documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, export and customs paperwork)
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping, including LTL and freight shipments
  • Manage carrier relationships and oversee scheduling, tracking, and issue resolution
  • Monitor shipments proactively and step in to resolve delays, damages, or delivery issues when needed
  • Own higher-level returns, damage claims, and operational escalations
  • Oversee phone coverage and ensure a high-quality, consistent customer experience across all customer touchpoints
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, production, logistics, and sales to drive operational excellence
  • Build and refine scalable systems, workflows, and SOPs that improve efficiency and reduce friction
  • Lead with a systems-thinking mindset—solving root causes, not just symptoms
  • Make decisions with a strong profit and efficiency lens, balancing cost, speed, and customer experience
  • Conduct post-mortems on operational issues and implement lasting improvements
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across every order

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, order management, or supply chain coordination
  • Experience managing and holding a small team accountable to performance and outcomes
  • Strong understanding of shipping, logistics, and documentation workflows (hands-on execution not required)
  • Systems thinker with the ability to build, improve, and scale operational processes
  • Proven ability to balance cost, efficiency, and customer experience in decision-making
  • Customer-service-oriented with strong ownership and problem-solving instincts
  • Experience in eCommerce, manufacturing, or product-based environments preferred
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning operations end-to-end
