Part-Time Role Job Overview The City Launcher is responsible for supporting local operations and ensuring a great customer experience within a specific area or market. This role combines recruiting, training, field support, and operations management . You will help hire and train onsite support staff, monitor performance, assist restaurant partners, and make sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. You’ll spend time working directly in the field, visiting restaurants and supporting local business initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Hiring & Onboarding
Recruit, interview, and help hire onsite support staff (OSS)
Ensure candidates meet quality and professionalism standards
Manage onboarding and help new hires get started successfully
2. Training & Coaching
Train new and existing staff on operational processes and expectations
Reinforce standards for customer experience and setup procedures
Provide guidance and support to improve team performance
3. Field Operations & Performance Management
Coordinate staffing coverage and support daily operations in your region
Observe team members during live shifts and provide feedback/coaching
Identify strong performers and address performance issues when needed
4. Local Market Support
Support local business growth initiatives and restaurant partnerships
Visit restaurant partners and assist with operational needs
Conduct restaurant test orders to ensure quality standards are met
Serve as the local operations representative for your assigned market
5. Hub Ownership
Maintain a reliable and prepared workforce for your assigned area
Ensure shifts are properly staffed and operations run smoothly
Communicate operational gaps or risks to leadership teams

Fast onboarding and successful ramp-up of new hires

Consistent execution and performance across all shifts
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in operations, recruiting, training, hospitality, or field management
Strong communication and people management skills
Comfortable providing feedback and coaching employees
Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
Comfortable traveling locally and working in the field regularly
Preferred Experience
Marketplace or gig workforce operations
Hospitality or restaurant operations
Experience launching or supporting operations in a new market
