THE RIGHT RESPONSE AT THE RIGHT TIME, EVERY TIME Sr. Project Manager Full-Time Remote or Hybrid (up to 2 days in-office) Reports to: Director, Project Management Office Benefits Offered: 401K, Dental, Life, Medical, Vision Hours: 9AM – 5PM Salary: $100-125K Travel Required: Minimal (up to 10%) Role Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting a portfolio of projects across Cogency Global, including organizational change initiatives, new technology implementations, workflow improvements, and acquisition integrations. This role ensures that projects are delivered effectively and is primarily focused on stakeholder alignment, decision facilitation, facilitating communication and risk visibility to ensure initiatives move forward efficiently and sustainably. Approximately 70% of the role is centered on stakeholder engagement, aligning priorities, facilitating decisions, and maintaining momentum, while 30% leverages project management expertise to apply structure, discipline, and practical delivery approaches. Success in this role requires strong judgment, influence without authority, and the ability to navigate complexity across teams. Major Goals · Enable successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects within agreed scope, timeline, and budgets. · Drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making to maintain momentum and minimize delays · Identify and surface risks and issues early, supporting timely resolution. · Strengthen project coordination practices that support organizational growth and change adoption. Core Responsibilities Project Coordination & Delivery · Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and reporting templates. · Facilitate project meetings, document outcomes, and track follow-up actions. · Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities dependencies, and timelines across teams. · Monitor progress and escalate risks, issues, or blockers as appropriate. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication · Serve as the central coordination point between project sponsors, business stakeholders, and delivery teams. · Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly, consistently, and transparently. · Balance competing priorities by aligning stakeholders to shared outcomes. Risk & Issue Management · Proactively identify risks and dependencies across initiatives and ensure mitigation strategies are in place. · Surface blockers promptly for sponsor or leadership resolution. · Maintain clear documentation to track risks, issues, and resolution status. Continuous Improvement & Change Support · Capture lessons learned and share best practices across projects. · Recommend process improvements to enhance project coordination and efficiency. · Support change adoption through clear communication, consistency and team engagement. Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience). · PMP certification (required). · 6+ years of professional project management experience across varied initiatives (business process, technology, or integrations). · Strong facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. · Familiarity with project management methodologies (PMI, Scrum, PRINCE2, Agile). · Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheet, Asana). Working Conditions · Remote or hybrid arrangement (2 in-office days per week in a Cogency office). · Minimal travel (up to 10%). · Standard business hours with occasional flexibility.
