The Requirements -
- 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll tax filing, with a focus on bulk filing
- Strong expertise in payroll tax regulations (federal, state, and local)
- Hands-on experience with bulk filing processes and system
- APTM experience strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills required (data manipulation, formulas, reporting)
- Experience supporting client delivery and participating in client interactions or presentations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute bulk payroll tax filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to federal, state, and local requirements.
- Support client delivery by responding to inquiries and providing clear updates on filing status
- Prepare and review tax filing data using advanced Excel skills, including data validation and reconciliation
- Utilize APTM and other tax filing systems to process filings efficiently
- Identify discrepancies or issues in tax data and partner with internal teams to resolve them
- Assist with compliance research and stay current on payroll tax regulations
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors in bulk filing workflows
