About the Role
*Remote role with occasional travel to Nashville, TN office and/or client sites as needed*
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for the end-to-end execution and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects within Clearsense. This role serves as the accountable leader for project-level execution, ensuring structured, predictable delivery aligned to scope, timelines, and defined outcomes.
Operating within a fast-paced, rapidly scaling PMO, the SPM translates complex, ambiguous initiatives into clear execution plans and drives coordination across cross-functional and client-facing teams. This role plays a key part in shaping PMO standards, improving delivery maturity, and mentoring junior project managers, while maintaining alignment to contractual obligations, stakeholder expectations, and broader program objectives.
Responsibilities
  • Own full lifecycle project delivery from initiation through close
  • Lead execution of complex, cross-functional, and client-facing projects and workstreams
  • Translate ambiguous initiatives into structured execution plans, including phases, milestones, deliverables, and tasks
  • Build and manage detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to drive execution clarity
  • Ensure alignment to Statements of Work (SOW), scope, timelines, and contractual obligations
  • Develop and maintain project charters outlining objectives, scope, stakeholders, and success criteria
  • Establish and manage RACI frameworks to ensure clear ownership and accountability
  • Manage scope, schedule, resources, risks, dependencies, and cross-project impacts
  • Maintain RAID logs and proactively mitigate risks and issues
  • Operate with a program-level mindset, understanding upstream and downstream impacts
  • Serve as the primary client-facing point of contact for project execution
  • Manage client expectations, communications, and escalations across engagements
  • Partner with internal leadership and client stakeholders to resolve risks, issues, and escalations effectively
  • Lead status meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder updates
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholders, delivery teams, and executive leadership
  • Track and report progress against milestones, deliverables, and timelines
  • Define and monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, throughput, cycle time, and quality
  • Use performance data to identify risks, improve delivery, and support decision-making
  • Apply PMO methodologies, tools, and standards consistently across projects
  • Drive consistency, repeatability, and execution discipline across workstreams
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of PMO standards and best practices
  • Mentor and support junior project managers to build capability and consistency across the PMO

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5–10+ years of project management experience in technical or operational environments
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional, and client-facing projects
  • Demonstrated ability to break down large, ambiguous initiatives into structured execution plans
  • Experience working with technical teams (e.g., engineering, data, systems)
  • Experience managing projects aligned to SOWs, charters, and defined deliverables
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, or scaling environments preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage expectations and escalations across internal and external stakeholders
