Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Rides Technician role. The Rides Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of amusement rides and attractions. Daily tasks include conducting inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The technician will collaborate with the operations team and report any issues promptly to maintain optimal performance and safety.

Qualifications
- Mechanical and Technical Skills: Proficiency in the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical equipment.
- Electrical Knowledge: Experience with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components related to amusement rides or similar machinery.
- Safety Practices: Understanding and application of safety guidelines, standards, and practices in ride and equipment operation and maintenance.
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Strong communication skills and the ability to assess and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Certifications & Education: Relevant certifications in mechanics, electrical systems, or related fields are a plus, as is prior experience in amusement park environments.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and work at heights as necessary.
- Attention to Detail: Capability to conduct thorough inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs.
