About the Role
Cincinnati Pergola is hiring a Sales Director to build, develop, and scale a high‑performing in‑home sales organization for a luxury outdoor living product serving an affluent homeowner market. This role is designed for a proven sales leader who thrives on building teams from the ground up, enjoys coaching in the field, and is motivated by earning potential directly tied to team performance and growth. Responsibilities
  • Revenue Leadership
  • Full ownership of team sales performance and outcomes
  • Drive consistent improvement in close rates, pipeline health, and execution
  • Lead the organization through an aggressive growth phase
  • Partner closely with ownership on strategy, targets, and priorities
  • Team Development & Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of in‑home sales professionals
  • Recruit, onboard, and ramp new sales talent as the organization grows
  • Develop strong performers and coach underperformers with clarity and accountability
  • Build a culture centered on professionalism, development, and winning
  • Field Coaching & Sales Excellence
  • Coach through ride‑alongs, call reviews, and real‑world deal strategy
  • Elevate a consultative in‑home sales process suitable for luxury buyers
  • Reinforce disciplined follow‑up, multi‑touch sales cycles, and premium customer experience
  • Set and uphold high standards in presentation, communication, and execution
  • Metrics, Process & Discipline
  • Lead with data—sales metrics, pipeline discipline, and performance indicators
  • Use CRM tools to track execution and forecast accurately
  • Run structured weekly sales meetings focused on performance and skill development
  • Bring consistency, clarity, and structure to the sales operation

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven sales leadership with revenue responsibility
  • Experience leading and developing sales teams (minimum 5 reps preferred)
  • Demonstrated success hitting and exceeding goals through a team
  • Background in B2C, in‑home, high‑ticket, or consultative sales environments
  • Experience in home services, construction, trades, or luxury consumer sales is a strong plus

Pay Range & Compensation Package: Total compensation is expected to range from $175K–$250K+, including a competitive base salary between $90K–$130K, along with uncapped earning potential tied directly to team performance and growth. The stronger the team you build and lead, the greater the upside opportunity.
