About the role

In Patient Registration Therapies at Main Campus Children's of Alabama
Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 with extended hours (if needed).
Summary:
Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Children's Behavioral Health tasks (pre-registration verification, pre-admission, limited financial counseling, scheduling and follow-up appointments, co-pay collection, order entry, account verification and updates, urgent registrations). Responsible for the maintenance of CBH patient records, including filing, scanning, and coordinating record releases with the COA HIM department. Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs. Expected to report as needed during periods of inclement weather, disasters, and states of emergency.
Other Information:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Prefer knowledge/experience with EPIC Financials and one year of previous work experience with automated scheduling and registration applications preferred.

  • 1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Care Admin - Registration

Children’s of Alabama clinical therapy locations include the Main Downtown Campus and offsite facilities conveniently located in Homewood, Al. Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused Children's Behavioral Health, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy pre-registration verification, scheduling and follow up appointments, co-pay collection, account verification and updates. Responsible for working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical setting. Must be flexible and willing to work in different physical locations and roles as needed to meet customer needs.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 with extended hours (if needed), Day Shift, Monday-Friday Standard Days
