Senior Content Editor
Location: Seattle, WA (On-site, 5 days/week)
Contract Duration: Approx. 12 months

Job Overview
RUN Studios is seeking a Senior Content Editor to support a global HR content migration project for a workforce of over 1 million. The role involves preparing employee-facing and HR team content for transformation from an existing content management system (CMS) to a new system. Key responsibilities include migrating 65,000 pieces of content, updating metadata, transforming long-form content into reusable fragments, and optimizing content for AI ingestion.
Key Responsibilities
  • Content Recertification: Ensure content is reviewed and updated by owners in preparation for platform migration.
  • Testing & Validation: Participate in testing to confirm successful migration with correct metadata and structure.
  • Content Transformation: Convert single-use long-form content into reusable content fragments aligned with new channels and AI tools.
  • Standards Development: Contribute to team style guidelines and propose AI personalization opportunities.
  • Workflow Management: Identify improvements for content management workflows in collaboration with global teams and product management.
  • Project Management: Set deadlines, assign tasks, manage dependencies, and escalate risks for complex feature publications.
  • Metadata & Taxonomy: Adhere to content taxonomy to ensure proper tagging, description, discovery, and reusability.
  • Content Reuse: Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort by reusing content across multiple platforms.
  • Global Updates: Respond to customer requests to create and update content within defined SLAs and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of professional content management experience (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful).
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proven expertise in content ops for AI applications.
  • Experience with reusable or "headless content."
  • Knowledge of information architecture and content models.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus)
  • Experience in multi-language publishing environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00 (Hourly)
