District Sales Manager – New England (MA, RI, NH, VT)

Base Salary: $85,000 + Annual Bonus

As we continue to expand in the Northeast, we are seeking a high-performing District Sales Manager to lead growth across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont. This is a high-impact role with strong visibility and the opportunity to help shape our continued growth in the Northeast Region.

The right candidate will bring proven beverage sales experience, strong market relationships, and the ability to drive growth through both direct account development and distributor management. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated sales leader who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to make a measurable impact in a growth-focused region.

You will be expected to be highly engaged in the market, traveling throughout the territory 3–4 days per week to support existing business, strengthen execution, and develop new opportunities.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means expanding distribution, increasing sales volume, strengthening distributor and broker execution, and building strategic retail partnerships across New England. Key priorities in the first 6–12 months include growing core grocery and convenience distribution, improving in-market execution, and identifying new volume-driving channels and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Market Development

* Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that drives volume, velocity, and profitability.

* Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across Grocery, Convenience, Natural, and Foodservice channels.

* Expand distribution and increase share with existing retail, wholesale, and distributor partners.

* Seek out alternative channels and volume opportunities to accelerate growth in the region.

Distributor, Wholesaler & Broker Management

* Build and manage a strong network of distributors, wholesale partners, and retailers.

* Lead broker management efforts, ensuring strong execution and accountability against goals.

* Strengthen partnerships to improve in-market presence, distribution, and promotional performance.

Retail & HQ Selling

* Manage retail relationships both in-market and at the headquarters level.

* Lead customer conversations and negotiate for the best possible outcomes with retail and wholesale partners.

* Use existing relationships and prospect new accounts to open incremental opportunities and grow market presence.

Planning, Profitability & Reporting

* Manage pricing, promotions, and budgets with a strong understanding of margin and retail economics.

* Maintain profitability through disciplined P&L management.

* Create and execute promotional calendars aligned with marketing activations.

* Read, analyze, interpret, and present data using tools such as NIQ and Numerator.

* Communicate regularly with the Regional Director, Senior Vice President of Sales, and Executive Team on business progress, opportunities, and priorities.

* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.

* Support adjacent markets, including New York, when required to drive company growth.

Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of beverage sales experience

* Proven experience managing distributors and growing sales in a multi-state territory

* Experience calling on retail decision-makers at both store and headquarters levels

* Existing relationships with retailers and/or distributors in New England, especially in Grocery and Convenience channels

* Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

* Ability to work independently in a remote sales environment

* Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

* Water category experience

* Experience selling into Convenience, Grocery, Natural, and Foodservice channels

* Experience working with national partners such as UNFI, KeHE, Core-Mark, McLane, Sysco, and US Foods

* Experience using syndicated data tools such as NIQ and Numerator

* Bachelor’s degree

* Base salary starting at $85k based on experience

* Annual bonus based on performance and company profitability (bonus eligible after 1 year)
