- Experience with identity, RBAC, secrets/keys, and Zero-Trust principles.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks (Purview), DQ, lineage, schema evolution.
- Skilled in designing scalable and distributed batch/streaming architectures.
- FinOps practices for compute/storage cost optimization.
- Ability to create reference architectures, standards, and blueprint documentation.
Functional Skills
- Ability to mentor engineering teams and lead design reviews.
- Strong collaboration skills with PMs, compliance, business, and engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to define roadmaps, migration strategies, and hybrid modernization blueprints.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for leadership alignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture of hybrid big-data platforms.
- Establish security models, integration patterns, and governance standards.
- Review engineering designs and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
- Collaborate with PMs and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet regulatory and business goals.
- Drive modernization strategy, migration planning, and stepwise platform evolution.
- Oversee performance, reliability, DR strategy, and cost-optimized cloud adoption.
