What you’ll do:
- Evaluate and improve survey design, content, sampling, and estimation methods
- Review complex survey data and processing procedures
- Identify data quality issues and recommend improvements
- Produce and validate estimates from large-scale household survey data
- Prepare analytic products, technical documentation, and presentations
- Communicate survey methods and findings to technical and non-technical audiences
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with complex probability-based or nationally representative surveys
- Experience with questionnaire design, sample design, weighting, variance estimation, and nonresponse adjustment
- Experience processing and analyzing survey data, including skip patterns or longitudinal components
- Experience applying health-related survey measurement, such as health insurance, disability, or health status
Required:
- Degree or coursework meeting federal statistician education requirements
- Transcripts required at time of application
- COR certification may be required within 12 months
