What you’ll do:
  • Design and conduct studies on economic issues related to CMMI models and regulations
  • Analyze healthcare financing and delivery system proposals and make recommendations
  • Provide technical consultation on complex health economic studies
  • Collaborate with researchers and multidisciplinary stakeholders on study design, analysis, and interpretation
  • Maintain working relationships with providers, economists, and researchers across government, academia, and private institutions

What we’re looking for (GS-13):
Applicants must have 1 year specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 , including:
  • Conducting economic analyses related to healthcare payment or delivery models
  • Designing and conducting research or evaluation studies related to healthcare programs, policies, or models
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders to support study design, data analysis, and interpretation of findings

Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in economics with at least:
  • 21 semester hours in economics
  • 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus
  • OR
  • Combination of education and experience that meets the economics requirement
