Duties and responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Lead all core HR functions including employee relations, compensation, HRIS, compliance, and talent strategy
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and employee engagement
Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and risk mitigation
Design and oversee compensation programs, including benchmarking, salary structure development, and merit/bonus cycles
Direct HRIS strategy, including system optimization, reporting, integrations, and automation
Develop and deliver HR analytics and reporting to support leadership decision-making and workforce planning
Lead and develop HR team members, providing coaching, performance management, and leadership development
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, including audits, reporting, and policy management
Drive process improvement initiatives across the HR lifecycle (recruiting, onboarding, performance, offboarding)
Lead organizational development efforts including talent assessment, succession planning, and leadership programs
Manage HR vendor relationships and external partnerships
Support change management initiatives and large-scale organizational transformations
Partner cross-functionally to enhance employee experience, engagement, and culture initiatives
Provide executive-level insights on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Experience/Training:
Minimum of 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
5+ years in a leadership capacity
Demonstrated expertise in complex employee relations and investigations
Proven experience in compensation strategy, benchmarking, and program design
Extensive experience with HRIS systems, optimization, and analytics
Strong leadership experience, including managing and developing teams
Professional Certification/License:
Professional HR Certification (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies
Strong understanding of all core HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, talent assessment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, payroll, training, and development
Strong understanding of HR Technology inclusive of HRIS and AI Initiatives
Strategic mindset with a focus on driving business results through HR initiatives
Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives effectively
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of employment law and compliance
Excellent conflict management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
Manage multiple priorities and business departments
Experience with HR technology and analytics is a plus
Flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels
Self-starter that is motivated and demonstrates initiative to meet business and departmental needs
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $101,836–$127,296. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Working Conditions Work is performed in a professional office environment with no unusual hazards. There may be some travel with overnight stays. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
