CBTS is seeking a Senior .NET Solution Developer to join our Business & Cloud Solutions team to design, develop and enhance application solutions that support business objectives. This role focuses heavily on coding well, building and enhancing solutions using C#, .NET, and SQL Server (or Oracle), and supporting web applications using MVC or modern web frameworks. You’ll work remotely on primarily on-prem application infrastructure while also helping the team thoughtfully move toward cloud-based solutions in Azure. Ideal candidates bring a solid technical foundation, typically a degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field, and are comfortable balancing deep database work with clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze business needs and user requirements, translating them into well-designed application solutions
- Design, develop, test and maintain new and existing software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems
- Develop and document software testing and validation procedures
- Provide effort estimates and actively contribute to project planning
- Participate in business continuity planning, testing, and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 8+ years of web application development experience using Microsoft .NET and C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Core
- 8+ years of experience working with Entity Framework and writing complex SQL queries, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance Tuning (Indexes, Deadlocks, Query Plans), and SSIS.
- This is a Backend-First/ Full Stack .NET Developer. Will need to have experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, React, Building and Consuming API's
- Candidates must Own end-to-end features or systems (Design, Build, Deploy, Support)
- Candidates must show in resume their experience working in production support, troubleshooting, or incident resolution.
- Experience with unit testing using frameworks such as XUnit or NUnit
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Must be experienced and open to being on-call Rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL Server and familiarity with SSIS (ETL, Data Validation and reporting systems) is preferred
- Candidates must be comfortable working directly with Data (not just via ORM)
- Experience developing software in the financial services industry is a plus

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality
