Role Description Cassidy Advertising is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Social Media Marketing Specialist to manage, create, and optimize social media efforts across a variety of client accounts. This role goes beyond posting—this individual will be responsible for analyzing performance, refining strategies, and driving measurable engagement and ROI for clients through both organic and paid social efforts. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a strong understanding of social media platform best practices, audience behavior, artificial intelligence tools within each platform, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities
Create, schedule, and publish organic and sponsored content across all major social media platforms:
Ad creation (copy, visuals, and formatting)
Audience targeting and segmentation
Budget allocation and campaign setup
Ongoing monitoring and optimization for peak performance
Write clear, engaging, and on-brand captions tailored to each client and platform
Collaborate with internal design teams to develop graphics, video, and visual assets
Manage day-to-day social media activity including comments, messages, and engagement opportunities
Develop and maintain monthly content calendars aligned with client strategy
Track, analyze, and report on both organic and paid social performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement, reach, conversions, and ROI
Continuously refine campaigns and content strategies based on data and performance trends
Manage relationships with platform representatives (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) to stay ahead of updates, tools, and opportunities
Stay current on social media trends, algorithm updates, and emerging platforms
Collaborate with account managers to ensure alignment with broader marketing strategies and client goals
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience in social media execution , including paid social campaign management (agency experience preferred)
Proven experience managing and executing across all major platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Google My Business
Hands-on experience with paid social tools and ad managers, including Meta Ads Manager and similar platforms
Experience using social media management and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, HubSpot, or similar
Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across industries
Proven ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable insights
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
