Compensation: $80,000 – $110,000/year · plus bonus opportunity
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business objectives into detailed user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions across multiple departments
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Create and maintain business process documentation including flowcharts, swim lanes, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering, QA, and UX teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) including test case development, execution coordination, and issue triage
- Conduct gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes and systems
- Analyze data to support business cases, ROI calculations, and project prioritization decisions
- Maintain project documentation in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Azure DevOps
- Support change management activities including training materials, release notes, and stakeholder communications
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout delivery
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, systems analyst, or in a comparable role
- Strong requirements-gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with requirements and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or Azure DevOps
- Experience creating process flows and diagrams using Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data
- Comfort with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming and sprint ceremonies
- Experience supporting UAT, including writing test cases and coordinating user testing
- Exposure to BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Scrum certifications are a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage priorities across multiple projects
