Job Description And Duties Under close supervision and in a learner capacity, the Student Assistant will assist the Firearms Applications and Support Unit (FASU) team in performing a variety of application testing, documentation, analysis, and support tasks. The student will become knowledgeable of all firearms applications used by the Bureau of Firearms (BOF) as well as the State of California and assist the quality assurance and testing processes utilized by the technical team supporting these program areas. The student will perform technical and administrative support duties that require independent action, analysis and initiative. The student will conduct research, collect information, and document findings and perform less complex analysis and testing activities.
