Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented entry level Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide essential support to multiple attorneys in various legal matters, particularly in the areas of Estate Planning and Estate Administration. This role requires the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and projects with competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support multiple attorneys with day-to-day administrative and legal tasks
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate client appointments
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
  • Client-facing position, a pleasant and professional demeanor is critical
  • Communicate with clients professionally via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical files
  • Track deadlines, anticipate what is needed and proactively assist attorneys with managing their deadlines and workflow
  • Attend client meetings as needed to witness and notarize documents

Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree or related work experience in a business setting preferred
  • Strong proofreading and writing skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
