About the role

The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct occupational therapy care to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT, following all applicable laws and standards.
Requirements include NBCOT certification (renewal optional), graduation from an accredited program, current state licensure, and CPR certification. New grads are welcome; one year of experience is preferred.
Responsibilities involve participating in community health projects, coordinating patient needs, adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols, and maintaining professional relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good judgment are essential.
Essential functions include implementing treatment plans, charting accurately, utilizing therapy software, providing excellent patient service, assisting in patient evacuation, and functioning as part of an interdisciplinary team. Physical activities like sitting, standing, lifting, and moving are required.
