BigIron is looking for a Jr. Social Media Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our sales organization by helping manage and grow the online presence of our sales representatives across multiple social media platforms. You’ll play an important role in increasing brand visibility, driving engagement, and helping buyers and sellers connect more easily with our team.
This is an entry-level opportunity and a great fit for someone looking to begin a career in marketing, communications, or social media. You’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside a collaborative team and learning how social media supports brand growth and customer engagement. What You’ll Do
- Manage and support multiple sales rep Facebook pages along with company branded pages
- Create, schedule, and publish posts for upcoming auctions and listings
- Keep content organized, accurate, and consistent
- Work with sales reps to gather photos, details, and information for upcoming auctions and events
- Write simple, clear captions that match our brand voice
- Monitor comments and messages, and flag anything that needs a response
- Help maintain a content calendar to keep posts on track
Requirements
- Interest in social media, marketing, or communications
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and willingness to work with a sales team
- Ability to stay on top of multiple pages and deadlines
- Comfortable learning new tools and systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction
