Section Editors will play an important role in developing and managing topical or special issues, bringing together high-quality research and review articles from leading experts in the field. Key Responsibilities
Developing a comprehensive proposal for a Topical or Special Issue, outlining its significance and identifying potential contributors.
Collaborating with co-editors to organize the issue and coordinate with authors to ensure a smooth editorial process.
Inviting contributors from diverse regions, particularly researchers with strong publication records.
Promoting the special issue to enhance its visibility, reach, and academic impact.
Qualifications and Experience
PhD. in a relevant academic discipline.
A valid Scopus ID.
Prior experience in publishing or organizing guest-edited thematic issues in peer-reviewed journals.
Ability to engage a network of scholarly authors willing to contribute research or review articles.
Strong professional networks within the research community.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with scientific publishing and peer-review processes.

Location This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility and convenience for international researchers. How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CVs; list of publications, and a Topical issue proposal by 25 March 2026. The proposal should include the title and scope of the Topical issue, relevant keywords, sub-topics, and preferably, the article titles, a list of potential contributors, and article submission deadlines. Note: Provision of a Scopus ID is required for the application to be considered.
