As a Electrical Engineer, you will take part in engineering proposals and projects in the mining and metals industry across the United States and Canada. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of professional services delivered while maintaining strong relationships with clients

and internal teams.

You will play a key role throughout all phases of engineering projects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality technical solutions. You will also occasionally visit client sites, support business development efforts, and mentor junior engineers to support team growth.

-  Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated solutions

**Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements**

-  Bachelor’s degree in [discipline] engineering

-  Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States, or eligible

-  5-10 years of relevant experience in mining, energy or heavy industry

-  Experience in a multidisciplinary consulting engineering environment

-  Ability to interpret process and engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, drawings)

-  Field experience (construction, commissioning, site support)

-  Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and teams

-  Valid driver’s license and availability for occasional travel

-  Power systems design, protection and control

-  Electrical studies and standards (IEEE, CSA, ANSI, IEC, etc.)

-  LV, MV, HV distribution systems, substations, motor control centers

-  Relay coordination, protection schemes, system reliability

-  Load flow, short circuit, arc flash, grounding, harmonics

-  Single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules

-  Transformers, switchgear, drives, motors, electrical packages

-  Area classification, HAZOP / HAZID participation

-  IEEE, ULC, ANSI, IEC, and regional electrical codes

-  Assets:

-  Advanced engineering degree (M.Sc. or equivalent)

-  Experience in engineering estimates and proposal preparation

-  Project management and project control skills

-  Experience with relevant software and design tools (Autocad, ETAP, etc)
