The RTC - AVP of Nursing Practice & Medical Quality provides visionary leadership and expert consultation to ensure the highest standards of evidence-based nursing and medical care across residential settings. This role is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and upholding standards that comply with policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation guidelines, all within a robust Quality Assurance framework. Full Time - Receptionist

MedMark Treatment Centers is looking for highly organized, professional and enthusiastic receptionist to handle a multitude of administrative functions in the treatment center. An ideal candidate is able to multitask and ensure the coordination of office activities, partner with clinic staff and maintain the paper flow of clerical functions in the office.

Responsibilities:

- Performs secretarial duties – includes answering phones, forwarding calls, managing mail flow, data entry, reconcile daily money collected, and office inventory control.

- Assist Medical Director/Program Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes – including scheduling, patient check in, insurance verification, payment collection and follow up calls.

- Assists in obtaining patient histories from other NTP’s, building blank patient files for new admissions, archiving discharged files, and prepares and maintains reports and records.

- Office maintenance – ensure children’s play area is cleaned, disinfect and clean lab area, clean coffee/beverage area.

- If applicable - facilitate specimen collection from patients, deliver to lab, file results and distribute to counselors

Qualifications:

MedMark Treatment Center is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented pharmacist to provide pharmacy services to patients, nurses, physicians, and other medical staff by interpreting and evaluating the validity and safety of orders and prescriptions. An ideal pharmacist candidate integrates core pharmacy knowledge dispensing and order review activities.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure that drugs are handled in the facility in a manner that protects the safety and welfare of the patient

- Sets the policies and procedures in the facility as related to all facets of drug handling and distribution, these policies and procedures to be reviewed and updated on an annual basis. The manual shall have policies and procedures for the receipt, storage, recordkeeping, maintenance of patient profiles, administration and accountability of all prescription drugs and procedures for the removal and destruction of unwanted, unused, outdated, recalled drugs and accountability and security of controlled substances.

- Make every effort to ensure the maximum level of safety and efficacy in the provision of pharmaceutical services.

- Not condone or participate in any transaction with any practitioner of another profession, or any other person whosoever under which fees are divided, or rebates or kickbacks paid or caused to be paid, or which may result in financial exploitation of patients or their families in connection with the provision of drugs, medication, supplies or pharmaceuticals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

- Ability to recognize overdose of methadone and take appropriate action per program protocol.

**Schedule: M/W/F 7:00 am to 9:00 am**

At MedMark, we take a patient-centered approach to opioid addiction treatment. In the first days of treatment, we will design an individualized plan that is suited to you patient needs. We do not just offer rehabilitation counseling and methadone treatment; MedMark clinics also provide physical evaluations, drug screenings, case management services, relapse prevention education, and after-care planning. Additionally, certain clinic locations offer methadone detox, buprenorphine maintenance, and group counseling. All of our services focus on helping our patients achieve long-term sobriety to enhance wellbeing and improve quality of life.

**Essential Roles And Responsibilities**

- Serve as Physician for MedMark Treatment Center NTP(s)

- Interviewing, managing, training, and evaluating physician extenders Implementation and enforcement of medical policies, procedures and training

- Assistance as needed with development of clinical policies, procedures and training

- Assistance as needed with completion of Federal, state, county and other regulatory applications, permits, licensure, inspections, etc.

- Correspondence and interaction with key regulatory (DEA, SMA, Medicaid, SAMHSA/CSAT, etc.) personnel and accrediting bodies as necessary

- Providing reports & other data as requested to CEO / Medical Director – OTP

**Administrative Responsibilities**

- Participation in Federal & state opiate/substance abuse training's, education programs, etc.

- Inputs clinical findings in the patient charts and electronic medical records

- Performs (and documents) chart reviews of all subordinate physician extenders

- Interviews, trains, educates, evaluates and counsels subordinate physician extenders

- Participation in meetings, teleconferences, etc. as needed

- Ability to handle stressful situations and interact with others.

- Must be present during working hours at the office for in-person meetings and access to a computer without violating company policy.

- Participates in BayMark Performance Improvement Process and accreditation process

- Continually reviews and enhances medical policies, procedures and protocols

MedMark Treatment Centers is looking for an organized and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments and collect personal information from patients. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping practitioners with treatment and collecting lab samples.

To be successful as a Medical Assistant you must have excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail. An ideal candidate also demonstrates a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder.

Responsibilities:

- Schedules intake appointments, records and verifies patients' information and prepares medical records on new and returning patients

- Check in patients, escort patients to and from waiting room, interviews patients and measures vital signs, records information intopatients' electronic charts

- Assist Medical Director/Program Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes and as needed

- Obtains blood specimens and collects nonblood specimens such as urine sputum, for laboratory testing

- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and disinfects treatment rooms, equipment andsupplies using germicides

- Acts as receptionist, performs secretarial duties and prepares and maintains reports and records

- Triage/manage questions, phone contacts, and fax messages

- File lab results into appropriate binders and distribute lab results to counselors

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma of GED

- Medical Assistant must be certified or registered

- Phlebotomy is involved in the position and is a required skill.

- Possess CPR/BCLS certification

- Familiar with State Regulations, DEA regulations and TJC and / or CARF Accreditation

- Excellent written and verbal skills required; working knowledge of MS Office and patient management software

- Ability to establish a positive rapport with patients; demonstrate a non-judgmental and accepting attitude toward the Substance Use Disorder population.

- 1-2 years’ prior healthcare experience in similar field and environment preferred
