About AUTOCRYPT
AUTOCRYPT is a global leader in automotive cybersecurity, delivering trusted security infrastructure for connected, autonomous, and software-defined mobility ecosystems. The company provides end-to-end cybersecurity solutions spanning V2X PKI/SCMS, Vehicle PKI & KMS, IDS/vSOC, cybersecurity validation platforms, and compliance engineering services supporting OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and transportation agencies worldwide. Headquartered in Seoul with operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, AUTOCRYPT is rapidly expanding its global footprint as the automotive industry accelerates toward software-defined vehicles (SDVs), connected mobility, and AI-driven transportation systems.
Role Description
AUTOCRYPT is seeking a highly driven and strategic business leader to lead market expansion and commercial growth across the United States automotive ecosystem. As Director, US Business Development, you will own and drive AUTOCRYPT’s US market strategy — developing executive relationships, leading strategic engagements, and expanding long-term business opportunities across OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and mobility stakeholders. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and requires a strong ability to navigate complex enterprise sales environments within the automotive and cybersecurity sectors.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute AUTOCRYPT’s US market expansion and go-to-market strategy
  • Build and deepen executive-level relationships across OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and ecosystem partners
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles and strategic commercial engagements
  • Drive pipeline development, revenue growth, and long-term account expansion
  • Identify and close high-value cybersecurity and software-defined vehicle opportunities
  • Position AUTOCRYPT as a trusted industry leader within the US automotive cybersecurity ecosystem
  • Collaborate closely with global product, engineering, and executive leadership teams
  • Represent AUTOCRYPT at industry conferences, customer engagements, and executive forums

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive, mobility, cybersecurity, or related industries
  • Proven track record in enterprise B2B sales or business development within the US market
  • Strong network across OEMs and/or Tier-1 suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and close complex, high-value enterprise deals
  • Strong understanding of software-defined platforms, mobility technologies, or cybersecurity solutions
  • Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Native or near-native English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automotive cybersecurity frameworks and standards including UN R155 and ISO/SAE 21434
  • Familiarity with PKI/KMS, vehicle security architectures, or backend security infrastructure
  • Exposure to software-defined vehicles (SDV), connected mobility, or autonomous driving ecosystems
  • Experience operating within high-growth, fast-scaling, or ambiguity-driven environments
  • Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across global teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building or scaling new business initiatives
  • Additional language skills (Korean preferred) are a plus
