Responsibilities
- Analyze compounds using a variety of analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation, including chromatography methods such as HPLC and GC
- Support research and laboratory initiatives by solving routine technical problems and executing assigned experiments
- Interpret analytical data, prepare summaries, and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Conduct electronic searches for applicable methods, procedures, and scientific references
- Manage multiple assignments and priorities while ensuring timely completion of documentation and project deliverables
- Perform laboratory activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards, including chemical handling, disposal procedures, and adherence to the Chemical Hygiene Plan
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
- Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and collaborative team initiatives
- Assist with training activities and support continuous improvement efforts within the laboratory
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
- 0–1 years of laboratory, analytical, or research experience
- Academic or hands-on experience with chromatography techniques, including HPLC and/or GC instrumentation
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced laboratory environment
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
- Prior experience working in a cGMP or regulated laboratory environment
