Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring effective test planning, execution, and delivery
- Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product, and business stakeholders
- Oversee both manual and automated testing efforts across applications
- Drive test automation initiatives using tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, or Playwright
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and defect management processes are in place
- Provide regular status updates, metrics, and reports to stakeholders
- Participate in requirement analysis and ensure testability of solutions
- Mentor and guide QA team members
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership/manager role
- Strong experience with automation tools such as Selenium and/or TOSCA
- Exposure to Playwright is a plus (nice to have)
- Experience in both manual and automation testing
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale environments
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automation frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Model
- Hybrid role: 3 days onsite per week in Bethesda, MD
