Position Overview: This role serves as a hands-on HR partner supporting retail business growth in the U.S., with a strong focus on frontline recruitment, payroll & benefits administration, and daily HR operations. The ideal candidate combines execution excellence with business partnership to support a fast-growing retail organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail frontline and corporate roles, with a focus on store hiring
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and deliver effective sourcing and hiring strategies.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support new store openings and ongoing retail expansion.
Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire) and continuously improve hiring efficiency and candidate experience.
2. Payroll & Benefits
Manage end-to-end payroll coordination, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state (especially California), and local regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs (health, 401(k), leave policies), ensuring competitiveness and smooth employee experience.
Partner with Finance and external vendors (e.g., payroll providers, brokers) to ensure proper processing, reporting, and compliance.
Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and compensation matters.
3. HR Operations
Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and HRIS maintenance.
Partner with business leaders to support employee engagement, and team effectiveness.
Maintain HR policies, reporting, and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field
3-5 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to retail environments (multi-store preferred)
Proven experience in high-volume retail recruiting and frontline hiring
Hands-on experience in payroll coordination and benefits administration in the U.S.
Solid knowledge of U.S. employment laws, especially California labor regulations
Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organization
