About the Role Anchor Fluid Power is looking for a Customer Service Strategic Specialist to join our Inside Sales team. The Customer Service Strategic Specialist is an integral part of Anchor Fluid Power's Inside Sales team. This individual will demonstrate a customer-first approach while providing high-touch support via phone and email to key OEMs, integrators and strategic accounts. You will be focused on being the voice of the customer and leverage your advanced technical acumen and take ownership for ensuring the customer relationships success and satisfaction. This role will support customers who require deep product knowledge, precise order management, and proactive communication due to the scale and impact of their operations. This position will be a Hybrid role based at our Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Responsibilities
Provide proactive owner like mentality to service as primary contact for assigned strategic accounts
Manage customer purchase orders with speed and accuracy
Manage RFQs, projects, forecasting, and demand alignment
Prepare technical and custom quotes; interpret drawings and specifications
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Production, and Quality
Monitor performance metrics and lead issue resolution
Maintain account knowledge, care plans, and customer preferences
Proactively identify risks, delays, and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
High School Diploma and 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment supporting distributors; OEMs preferred.
Required Skills
Strong telephone and email communication skills including experience with Microsoft suite or similar programs
A strong technical aptitude and preferred experience working with Macola, ERP, Excel, and customer portal based systems
Experience proactively managing complex, high expectation accounts with an ownership mindset and strong problem solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work communicate with both internal and external customers at a variety of levels.
Preferred Skills
Direct Inside Sales Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment.
