Business Systems Analyst III - Job Description
Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst III is responsible for bridging business needs and technical solutions. This individual partners with stakeholders across business units and IT to analyze complex systems, define requirements, and deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that align with enterprise objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex system initiatives
  • Lead collaboration efforts across teams to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to deliver system enhancements
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos
  • Work with data teams to support reporting, data validation, and system integration efforts
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications or platforms

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Strong experience with enterprise systems and integrations
  • Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, or similar

Experience with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in financial services or insurance industry
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365)
  • Understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows
  • General understanding on how to best leverage AI for story

The expected salary range for this role is USD $76,600.00 - USD $100,000.00 Yr.
