About the Role
Altoura is seeking a high-impact Account Manager to accelerate growth across our existing enterprise customer base while driving strategic Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives to acquire new customers—especially OEMs, manufacturing leaders, and industrial or life sciences organizations.
This role is ideal for a consultative, proactive relationship builder with experience expanding strategic accounts, uncovering whitespace, and driving personalized cross-sell and upsell motions. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Professional Services, and Marketing to deepen engagement in current accounts and execute targeted ABM campaigns that attract similar, high-value customers and OEM partners.
As part of a small and agile sales team, you’ll operate with high autonomy, helping to shape account strategy, expansion frameworks, and customer engagement motions. This role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment—comfortable creating structure where it doesn’t yet exist while executing hands-on account growth work.
This position is based in Atlanta, serving as Altoura’s regional presence in a key industrial and enterprise hub.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive Growth in Existing Accounts
  • Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and maximizing lifetime value.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business objectives and proactively position Altoura’s products and services to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build and execute account expansion plans, including upsell, cross-sell, license expansion, and expansion into new business units.
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across operations, training, IT, and leadership.

2. Lead ABM Programs to Acquire Similar Customers
  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and execute 1:1 and 1:few ABM campaigns targeting accounts that mirror our ideal customer profile.
  • Personalize outreach, content, and engagement based on industry, buyer role, and use case.
  • Generate pipeline by identifying and engaging new contacts within existing accounts and leveraging champions or customer advocates to open doors.
  • Actively create new opportunities through personalized outreach, relationship building, and value-driven conversations.
  • Track and analyze ABM performance, optimizing programs for greater conversion and pipeline growth.
  • Identify high-potential prospects through pattern recognition and use-case alignment.

3. Develop Pipeline with OEMs and Strategic Partners
  • Identify and engage OEMs and ecosystem partners who can benefit from Altoura’s platform and training solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop co-selling and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Understand OEM business models and articulate the value of partnering with Altoura to enhance their products, reduce service costs, or improve customer enablement.

4. Account Strategy, Forecasting & Planning
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services on renewals to ensure a proactive and seamless growth motion.
  • Surface field insights to inform product strategy, partner enablement, and marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, enterprise sales, or similar growth roles.
  • Proven success expanding revenue within existing accounts in SaaS, XR/AR/VR, industrial tech, or training technology environments.
  • Experience with ABM strategies and tools (e.g., demand gen platforms, personalized outreach, industry-targeted campaigns).
  • Strong relationship-building skills across both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex customer organizations and build multi-level stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex solutions into business value.
  • Experience selling into manufacturing, beverage/CPG, industrial, energy, life sciences, OEM, or field-service-oriented organizations (highly preferred).
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with frontline workforce solutions, immersive training, XR, or digital transformation technologies.
  • Experience partnering with OEMs or strategic alliances.
  • Familiarity with structured account planning frameworks.

What Success Looks Like
  • Expanded revenue across your existing accounts within the first 12 months.
  • Documented, multi-threaded account maps with clear strategies for relationship coverage and expansion.
  • New opportunities generated through proactive outreach and partner engagement—not just inbound leads.
  • Strong adoption and utilization of Altoura solutions across customer teams.
  • Acquisition of new OEM and enterprise logos through targeted ABM motions.
  • Strong, trust-based relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.
