- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering with a at least 8 years of directly related GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (direct experience with CAR-T manufacturing strongly preferred).

- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (cell therapy experience preferred).

- Late-stage clinical and commercial experience (experience with CMC regulatory submissions preferred).

Principal Engineer, Manufacturing Science and Technology

**About The Role**

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Senior Counsel, Corporate, Securities & Transactions will work closely with the General Counsel on Allogene’s public company corporate legal function, including SEC reporting, corporate governance, Board and committee matters, proxy and annual meeting processes, Section 16 reporting, and related disclosure and compliance matters. The role will also support strategic transactions, business development activities, M&A, licensing and collaboration matters, and the drafting and negotiation of corporate and commercial agreements. This position is hybrid and based at Allogene’s headquarters in South San Francisco, CA.

**Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To**

- Work closely with the General Counsel to draft, review and coordinate SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statements, Section 16 filings, and other public company disclosures.

- Advise on corporate governance matters, including Board and committee materials, governance policies, Nasdaq compliance, Delaware corporate law matters, director and officer questionnaires, insider trading policies, Regulation FD and public company best practices.

- Support Board and committee processes, including preparation and review of meeting materials, resolutions, minutes, consents and related governance documentation.

- Support the Company’s annual meeting and proxy season process, including proxy statement preparation, shareholder meeting logistics and related governance matters.

- Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, People/HR, Stock Administration and outside advisors on disclosure, equity compensation, executive compensation and public company compliance matters.

- Draft, review and negotiate agreements related to strategic partnerships, business development, licensing, collaborations, M&A, confidentiality, services and other corporate or commercial matters.

- Support legal aspects of strategic transactions, including due diligence, transaction documentation, internal approvals and post-signing implementation.

- Help manage outside counsel in areas of responsibility.

**Position Requirements & Experience**

- J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar. California bar admission or eligibility to register as California in-house counsel required.

- At least 8 years of relevant corporate/securities experience, preferably including significant experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house public company legal department.

- Significant experience advising public companies on SEC reporting, corporate governance, proxy statements, annual meetings, Section 16 reporting and related disclosure matters.

- Experience with Board and committee support, corporate governance policies, Nasdaq/listing requirements, Delaware corporate law, insider trading policies and Regulation FD.

**About The Role**

Allogene Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Director, Global Medical Information & Scientific Communications to lead the execution of a comprehensive medical information and scientific communications strategy across pipeline assets. This role will be accountable for defining and executing the global medical information and scientific communications strategy, establishing operational excellence, and ensuring compliant, high-impact scientific exchange aligned with Allogene’s mission to advance allogeneic CAR-T therapies for patients with serious diseases.

In addition, this role will provide site-support for selected global trial sites supporting the ALPHA3 study, partnering closely with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and Field Medical leadership (E.g., SIV attendance, PI relationship-building, 1:1 investigator meeting facilitation).

The position is remote based in the U.S. and reports into Medical Affairs leadership.

- Lead Medical Information (MI) support for assigned pipeline assets, including development of processes and SOPs for intake/triage of unsolicited inquiries, development of scientifically balanced responses, and documentation of inquiry handling. Maintain the Medical Information (MI) content library (e.g., SRLs, FAQs, and non-standard response letters) across pipeline assets.

- Drive Medical Communications (MC) for assigned pipeline assets in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies, including development of the scientific platform and creation/review of scientific communication deliverables (e.g., slide decks, congress materials, FAQs, field medical materials) through MRC review and warehousing.

- Lead publications planning and execution for assigned pipeline assets in alignment with Good Publication Practice (GPP) and authorship standards (e.g., ICMJE), including publication plan development, review committee coordination, and support of abstracts, posters/orals, and manuscripts with external authors.

- Engage and maintain relationships with external scientific stakeholders (e.g., investigators, KOLs, and societies) to support publication and trial site support activities as needed.

- Ensure all activities adhere to applicable regulations and company policies, including appropriate use of approved materials, documentation standards, and medical/legal/regulatory review requirements.

- Maintain scientific expertise in relevant disease areas with the ability to translate complex data into clear, audience-appropriate scientific content.

**Position Requirements & Experience**

- Advanced degree in life sciences field (APN, PhD, PharmD, MD)

- 4-6+ years of experience in Medical Affairs (Medical Information, Medical Communications, Publications, or a combination), within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry; experience supporting pipeline/launch readiness preferred.

- Working understanding of medical affairs principles, the end-to-end lifecycle of scientific content (e.g., MI response documents, medical communications materials, and publications), building HCP relationships, and engaging in scientific exchange.
