What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and review advanced material science problems with real-world scientific relevance
Apply your expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or related areas to design complex, rigorous problem statements
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth, and clarity
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve AI reasoning in your field
Ensure scientific rigor and precision across all deliverables
Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Master's or PhD in Material Science or a closely related field
Deep expertise in semiconductor materials, molecular modeling, or equivalent specialization
Proficient in Python or MATLAB for research or technical problem-solving
Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
Background in computational materials science, thin films, photovoltaics, or device physics
Experience communicating complex scientific concepts in writing for non-specialist audiences
Familiarity with AI tools or evaluation platforms as an end user
