What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — incidents, alerts, and investigations — to assess what's happening and why it matters
- Classify severity levels, determine root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
- Review detection logic and investigation workflows for accuracy and real-world applicability
- Evaluate AI-generated security outputs and validate they reflect how analysts actually work in practice
- Provide structured feedback that directly improves AI reasoning in security contexts
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, or security operations
- Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
- Strong ability to distinguish true positives from noise and false positives
- Detail-oriented with clear written communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat hunting, threat intelligence, or digital forensics
- Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or similar
- Background in evaluating or documenting security processes and procedures
