What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
Design complex problem statements drawing on your expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related fields
Evaluate the mathematical reasoning and outputs of AI models for rigor, accuracy, and depth
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to identify gaps and improve model performance
Ensure all deliverables meet high standards of mathematical clarity, precision, and correctness
Who You Are
Holder of a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
Deeply proficient in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
Experienced with Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical projects
A clear, precise communicator — able to articulate complex ideas in writing with accuracy and care
Self-directed and reliable when working independently on structured tasks
Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
Background in applied mathematics, mathematical modeling, or computational research
Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts at a technical level
Experience writing or reviewing academic mathematical content
